Strip planking+fiberglass - woodenboat, Hello ,i am at the beginning stages of a a boat building project :3 "sailing whale boats" for the sea scouts in my country,to replace their 60 year old fleet.we are planing to build them of strip planking ,douglas fir on laminated iroko backbone with laminated frames ,fiberglassing with biaxial on the outside .my dilemma is whether to fiberglass the inside too,or just epoxy coat and paint..
